Taking off

Our adventure starts tomorrow. There are 62 of us, and we have just finished our orientation in Philadelphia and we are scheduled to take a bus at 7:00am on July 5 to New York, where we will catch a 4:30pm flight to Istanbul. We will have a 7 hour layover, which gives us the chance to explore Istanbul for a few hours. We will arrive in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on July 7, at about 1:30 am. We will be in Bishkek for 3 days until we move to our pre-service training sites surrounding Kant City. Mike and I will be split up at that point, but will have plenty of opportunities to see each other over the next 11 weeks of training.
